Job opportunity for 9 young professionals under 35
Call for talents poster

The  Interreg Greece–Italy ENERGIE project, coordinated by  ARTI Puglia, has recently launched a  Call for Talents aimed at selecting  9 young professionals under 35 to work on urban regeneration, sustainability and innovation challenges in three pilot areas:  Brindisi and Matera (Italy) and Aigialeia (Western Greece).

The call addresses early-career professionals from EU and non-EU countries with multidisciplinary backgrounds, including urban and territorial planning, renewable energy, economic development, social innovation, regeneration finance and participatory design. The selected talents will operate in an international and co-design-oriented context, working closely with local communities, institutions and stakeholders through field research, collaborative labs and participatory processes.
Each assignment includes a  €25,000 + VAT fee, with activities running until  May 2027.

The selected professionals will collaborate closely with local communities, institutions and stakeholders through listening processes, field research, collaborative labs and co-design activities. The three pilot areas will function as real-life experimentation hubs:

  • in  Brindisi (Puglia, IT), the focus will be on regenerating the former  Molo Catene, an underused port area, into a symbolic space for innovation, sustainability and renewable energy;
  • in  Matera (Basilicata, IT), the work will integrate the protection and enhancement of the UNESCO  Sassi District with sustainable mobility solutions;
  • in  Aigialeia (Western Greece – GR), the intervention will centre on the reuse of the former  Aigio Paper Mill as a multifunctional, energy-efficient space.

Through dialogue with local communities and co-design processes, the young professionals will develop concrete solutions combining cultural heritage protection, energy transition, circular economy, social innovation and new models of collaborative governance.

Applications can be submitted online by 12:00 p.m. (CET) on 27 February 2026 via ARTI’s institutional website. All relevant information, including eligibility criteria and application procedures, is available at the following link
