The Managing Authority (MA) is the body formally responsible for managing the Programme on behalf of the participating partner countries. It is the MA that signs the subsidy contracts on behalf of the Programme with the selected projects.

Joint secretariat

The JS carries out the day-to-day operational administration of the programme: communication of funding opportunities, support to applicants, evaluation of applications and monitoring of projects, managing technical assistance budget. It also assists all the other programme bodies with their tasks. The Joint Secretariat is based in Bari (Puglia) Italy.

National Info Points (NIPs) in the Interreg IPA South Adriatic Programme act as the primary national contact point for potential beneficiaries, providing information, advice, and support on programme activities and calls for proposals. Their core tasks include assisting their national authority with programme management and implementation, implementing the programme's communication strategy to promote its goals, and supporting potential beneficiaries through the project lifecycle from preparation to implementation.
