Stakeholders met in Tirana to discuss cooperation, capacity building and opportunities in the cultural sector.

National Theatre of Albania brings together cultural stakeholders in Tirana for SEEDS Info Day and Participatory Event

On 31 March 2026, the National Theatre of Albania hosted the Info Day and Participatory Event of the SEEDS Project, part of the Interreg IPA South Adriatic 2021–2027 Programme.

The event brought together representatives of cultural institutions, regional theatres, public authorities, private entities, artists, sector professionals, media and the wider public. It aimed to present the project, its objectives and partnership, while fostering dialogue and engagement in the cultural and creative sector.

The SEEDS Project addresses the need to strengthen cooperation and support sustainable cultural ecosystems in the South Adriatic area, focusing on cross-border collaboration, capacity building and opportunities for artistic exchange and co-production.

Participants were introduced to the project’s main activities, including the establishment of a cross-border network and targeted capacity-building actions. The discussion provided a platform for exchange of ideas, allowing participants to share perspectives, identify key needs and express interest in future collaboration.
