Interreg SOFTMOVE Closing Conference in Bari: “UAS – Lessons Learnt & Perspectives in the IPA Cross-Border Area

The SOFTMOVE project, co-funded by the Interreg IPA South Adriatic Programme, is pleased to announce its Closing Conference: “UAS – Lessons Learnt & Perspectives in the IPA Cross-Border Area”, which will take place on 29 July 2025 at Porta Futuro, Bari.

The event will gather institutional representatives, project partners, academic stakeholders, startups and companies from Italy, Albania, and Montenegro to reflect on the results and lessons of the SOFTMOVE journey. The conference will provide a comprehensive overview of the project achievements, including presentations of the Joint Action Plan and the feasibility model for smart cities using drone technologies.

Participants will also attend the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between partners and engage in interactive sessions with stakeholders from academia and industry, who contributed to the project during its implementation.

The event marks an important milestone for the cross-border dialogue on the future of UAS and U-space technologies and their integration into urban mobility systems.
