The Interreg IPA South Adriatic 2021 2027 is a cross-border cooperation Programme co-funded by the European Union through the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance.
The European Union fosters the cooperation within Interreg IPA (Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance) between EU Member States (Italy - Puglia and Molise Regions) and candidate countries (Albania and Montenegro). The Programme builds on the lessons learnt of the previous Interreg IPA CBC Italy-Albania-Montenegro programme 2014-2020 and the strong heritage collected by its 80 funded projects.
The Programme provides financial support to public authorities (local, regional and national bodies), research institutions, NGOs, and non-profit actors aiming to find joint solutions to common challenges through the development of digital tools, strategies, action plans and pilot tests, focusing on green and digital growth, promoting clean energy transition, improving equal access to inclusive education and enhancing institutional capacity of public authorities.
We have a budget of 81 million euros from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), including 17,51% co-financing by Member States.
Our programme contributes to all EU Priority Axes (PA) and and Specific Objectives (S.O.).
